It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved DeeAnne West of Edgewood, New Mexico, born in Moriarty, New Mexico, who passed away at the age of 53, on October 30, 2023. She is survived by: her daughter Adeeanna (Brandon Couger); her siblings, Dori Smith, Brenda Winner (Mike), Albert Leyba (Rose), Ed Leyba (Cheryl) and Tom Leyba (Marilyn); her nephew Albert Smith; and her parent Dee.
She volunteered so that veterans could continue to enjoy steak night at the VFW during the Covid shut down and cooked to go orders to benefit the post during the 1. 5 year shut down.
With the donated money, she and Brandon would match the amount to make the 4th of July display a spectacular evening.
