Plahm; her mother Marica Plahm-Sauer; her sisters, Amy Sauer (Weldon Bratcher) and Rachel Kuchan (Jerod); and her nieces and nephews, Brianna Sauer, Zane Bratcher, Julia Dennisson, Emily Dennisson, Natalie Dennisson and Reiner Kuchan.
