He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Burney and Ruby Mae Burney; his son Bruce; and his brothers, Webster, Wayland and Joe Rue.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Ford; his daughter Brandi Doss; his granddaughters, Brogan Hene (Russell), Blaze Shipley (Jaxon), Brooklyn Burney and Brettley Burney; and his great grandchildren, Stone, Worth, Steiner, Rove and Haze. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
