He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kennedy and Margaret Kennedy; his wife Elaine Kennedy; his brother John Kennedy (Vera); and his siblings-in-law, Betty Kennedy and Dan Doherty, Jr. (Loren).
He is survived by: his family Kennedy Truck Lines; his significant other Elaine Doherty; his children, Elaine, Jane Kay Amerson (Ken), Susan Kennedy, Nancy Townley (Bob), Kirk Kennedy (Cathy) and Brian Kennedy (Cindy); his grandchildren, Nicole, Micaela, Amy, Drew, Carrie, Travis, Matthew, Annie, Emily, Colby and Casey; his siblings, Bill Kennedy and Margaret Ann Crow; and his brother-in-law Jim Doherty (Sylvia). He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
