He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Apodaca and Encarnacion Apodaca; and his stepson Adrian Arratia. He is survived by: his daughter Sadie Murrieta (Leobardo); and his brother Pedro Apodaca. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
