He is survived by: his wife Flora Jasso Piñon; his children, Ben Young (William Parten) of Deming, NM, Millie Young-Walker (Lee Walker) of Las Cruces, NM, Evelyn "Evie" Morales (Javier Morales) of Las Cruces, NM and Julie Piñon Jasso (Lonnie Zumwalt) of Deming, NM.; his grandchildren, Jarrod Arias (Jessica), Jesse Arias (Nicole), Jake Arias, Aaron Morales (Roxana Bonilla), Joshua Morales, Alyssa McCutchen (Gabriel Ornelez), Alonni Herrell (Jonathan) and Tifany Arteche (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Jayce Arias, Jaylee Arias, Jacob Arias, Zoei Arias, Logan Arias, Nyjah Arteche, Zuriah Arteche, Zayden Herrell, Zander Herrell and Ethen Perez; his siblings, Carrie Madrid (Isidro), Anita Rodriguez (Daniel) and Danny Piñon (Cindy); and his grandsons, Gabriel Ornelez, Jonathan Herrell and Brandon Arteche.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Terrazas Funeral Chapel (901 S Pearl St, Deming, NM 88030). A rosary was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (400 S Ruby St, Deming, NM 88030).
