He is survived by: his children, Francisco Martin Escareño (Narcisa), Ernesto Escareño (Jodi), Rito Escareño, Evangelina Olivas (Marco) and Maria Escareño (Emanuel); and his siblings, Evaristo Escareño (Maria), Jose Escareño Salazar (Graciela), Martin (Antonia Carillo), Crescencio Escareño, J. Guadalupe Escareño (Paula), Manuela Escareño, Amelia Villagrana (Refugio), Maria, Refugio Villagrana (Angel) and Gerarda Escareño. He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Baca's Funeral Chapel (811 S Gold Ave, Deming, NM 88030). A rosary was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Ann's Catholic Church (400 S Ruby St, Deming, NM 88030). A committal service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery (3410 E Pine St, Deming, NM 88030).
