He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Easton and Omar Rice; and his siblings, Claude Rice, Barbara Paulson and Jean Suchocki.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Rice; and his children, Robert Glaser (Kay), Anthony Rice, Rick Bryant (Lori), Penny Rice, Marilyn Simon (Larry) and Sharon Bowers (Scott Smith). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
