He is survived by: his wife Guadalupe Barrera; his children, Jose Jesus, Flavio (Araceli), Elder Uriel Barrera, Imelda and Guadalupe Gardenia Barrera; and his siblings, Joaquin (Rosalba), Octavio (Ruth), Lucio Barrera, Hortencia Barrera, Maria Isabel Barraza, Anita Barraza Celia (Ricardo) and Minerva Barrera. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
