He was predeceased by: his father Joe Trujillo; and his son Michael O. Trujillo. He is survived by: his mother Helen Trujillo of Deming; his wife Linda; his daughters, Gina and Cindy Trujillo; and his stepchildren, Monica Green and Erik Van De Valde. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren as well as three brothers and one sister.
Michael was loved by all who knew him and was deemed a "hero" by many for how long and hard he fought against Parkinson's and a form of muscular dystrophy while never complaining.
