Lorenza Beatriz Urenda Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorenza Beatriz Urenda of Deming, New Mexico, who passed away on January 31, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Lorenza may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lorenza touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parent Guadalupe Apodaca; and her son Thomas Urenda. She is survived by: her children, Robert Urenda (Sandra) and Lourdes Duran (Francisco); her daughter-in-law Elbia Urenda; and her siblings, Jesus Vidaca, Martin Velasquez (Nori), Rosa Velasquez (Gilberto Covarrubia) and Sylvia Rincon (Alfredo). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Baca's Funeral Chapel (811 S Gold Ave, Deming, NM 88030). A rosary was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (400 S Ruby St, Deming, NM 88030). A committal service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery (3410 E Pine St, Deming, NM 88030).
