He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas Matthew "Pete" Hethcox. He is survived by: his mother Betty Lou Hethcox (Donaghe); his wife Joanne Hethcox; and his brothers, Lyle Hethcox, Tyson Hethcox (Melissa), Thomas Lane (Sally) and Richard Phelps. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles and a huge extended family.
