It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy Ann Montoya of Deming, New Mexico, born in Hammond, Indiana, who passed away on October 24, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Judy departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Judy may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Judy leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Conroy and Marie Stonovich; her husband Alex Montoya; and her brother Larry Conroy. She is survived by: her children, Alex Montoya III and Stacy Wood (Robert); her grandchildren, Holly Hudson, Kelly Alley, Kristin Bolan and Kimberly McWhorter; and her sister-in-law Nancy Huerta. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
