He is survived by: his parent Ida Marie Tena; his father-in-law Fernando Fierro of Artesia, NM; his grandmother Martha Elena Tena of Deming, NM; his aunts and uncles, Patricia Rincon (Javier Rincon) of Deming, NM, Martha Tena Romero (Ernesto Romero) of Deming, NM, Rolando Tena (Cristina Saenz) of Deming, NM and Fred Tena (Sandra Lopez) of Chihuahua, Mexico; and his cousins, Janet Marrufo, Pamela Rincon, Rene Saenz, Diego Romero, Rolando Javier Tena, Emmyline Tena, Chloe Tena, Lexis Candia, Jr., Angel Candia, Bryan Candia and Christian Candia.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Terrazas Funeral Chapel (901 S Pearl St, Deming, NM 88030). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (400 S Ruby St, Deming, NM 88030). A burial was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery (3410 E Pine St, Deming, NM 88030).
