He was predeceased by: his parents, John J Nemec Sr. and Audrey Nemec; his brothers, James and Danny Nemec; and his nephew Jason Nemec.
He is survived by: his wife Belen S. Pacheco; his children, Donna Doornbos (Ernest Valverde Jr.) of Humble, TX, John J. Nemec III (Miranda) of El Paso, TX and Stanley Mark Nemec of Las Cruces, NM; his sister Carol Jean Nemec; his grandchildren, Samantha (Devin), Sean, Alexander, Nicholas, Jomei, Soji and Sara; and his great grandchildren, Darwin and Rudeus.
