It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Baca Valenzuela of Deming, New Mexico, who passed away on September 15, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Federico T. Baca and Eulalia Placencio; her siblings, Francisco, Antonio Baca, Anita Orosco and Dora B. Hunter; her grandchildren, Gerald Anthony Valenzuela and Larissa Renteria; and her great grandchild Faith Aleeya Ybarra.
She is survived by: her husband Lorenzo Valenzuela; her children, Gerald "Gerry" (Darla), Fred Valenzuela and Rachel Renteria (Michael); her sisters, Rose Bustamante (Danny) of Las Cruces, Manuela P. Van (Gene) of Redmond, WA, Ruth B. Costales of Alabama and Eva B. Uzueta of Deming; her grandchildren, Melina Ybarra, Abraham, Nathan Renteria, David and Paul Valenzuela; her great grandchildren, Andrew Alonzo, Anthony Michael and Maleeya Ybarra; and her grandchildren, Jayden Elijah, Anthony David Valenzuela, Natalia Anthony Valenzuela, Drina, Dak Guthrie, Ezekiel Bryant, Destinee Gianna and Riley Rae Renteria.
