He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wood and Evelyn Wood (Soule). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth McCallum (Dolly); his great grandchildren, Brayden and Kellen; and his siblings, Howard, Mary Wood (Bud Elder), Joe Wood (Alice) and Ellen Wood. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fort Bayard National Cemetery (200 Cam De Paz, Fort Bayard, NM 88036).
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the Deming Luna County Humane Society for the Shelter, PO Box 70, Deming, NM 88031 in memory of George.
