In the sacred silence of farewell, Frances Wilcox is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Frances Wilcox's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her father Johnnie Wilcox; and her brother-in-law Jim Mcknight. She is survived by: her mother Helen Wilcox of Albuquerque; her husband Pat Laney of Santa Fe; her daughter Jaclyn LaFon (Jharrod) of Santa Fe, NM; her grandsons, Jack and Jesse; her brothers, Jay Wilcox (Joanna) of Levelland, TX, Morris Wilcox (Chelle) of Lubbock and Michael Wilcox of Albuquerque; and her siblings-in-law, Laurie McKnight of Afton, IA and Mike Laney (Tonya) of Shady Point, OK. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (206 W Pine St, Deming, NM 88030).
