She was predeceased by: her parents, Raul Aguilera and Margarita Lopez; and her daughter Margaret Hernandez. She is survived by: her children, Gilbert Ray Chavez of Deming, NM and Luz Aguilar of Deming, NM; and her siblings, Jesse Aguilera of Deming, NM and Margaret Pacheco of Greeley, CO. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM at the Terrazas Funeral Chapel (901 S Pearl St, Deming, NM 88030). A rosary was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (400 S Ruby St, Deming, NM 88030). A burial was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:15 AM at the Mountain View Cemetery (3410 E Pine St, Deming, NM 88030).
