Elena M. Curiel Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elena M. Curiel of Deming, New Mexico, who passed away on December 5, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Santos Marquez and Jesusita Morales; her husband Salvador Curiel Sr.; and her siblings, Abran Marquez, Petra Bautista and Lorenza Acevedo.

She is survived by: her children, Salvador Curiel Jr. of Deming, NM, Dolores Valdez of Deming, NM, Patricia Anchieta of Deming, NM and Christy Sanchez (Raymond) of Deming, NM; and her sister Rosa Milo of Deming, NM. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
