He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Martinez and Maria Izquierdo; and his siblings, Pedro, Jesus, Pablo, Jose Cruz, Francisco Martinez, Abelina and Josefina Martinez.
He is survived by: his wife Aurora Tafoya Martinez; his sons, Eddie Martinez Jr. of Deming, NM, David A. Martinez (Sylvia) of Deming, NM and Jose Ramon Martinez (Angie) of Deming, NM; his grandchildren, Christian, Omar, Eduardo, Jose Angel, Clarissa, Iliana, Micahela and Marina Martinez; and his great grandchild Danielito Noah Lopez.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Terrazas Funeral Chapel (901 S Pearl St, Deming, NM 88030). A rosary was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the St. Ann Catholic Church (400 S Ruby St, Deming, NM 88030). A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery (3410 E Pine St, Deming, NM 88030).
