He is survived by: his wife Silvia Ramirez; his children, Luis Chavira, Adrian Chavira (Lizbeth Aguilar), Armando Chavira, Andres Rodriguez, Ubaldo Rodriguez, Juan Diego Rodriguez (Joyce), Margarita Chavira (Santos Amaro), Griselda Chavira (Salvador Sanchez), Beatriz Chavira (Jorge Sandoval Miranda) and Diana Angelina Soto (Gerardo); and his siblings, Alejandro, Ramon (Pilar), Atilano and Evangelina Chavira. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Baca's Funeral Chapel (811 S Gold Ave, Deming, NM 88030). A rosary was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
