He is survived by: his wife Rosemary; his children, Chris Chavez (Susan) of Cubero, Paula Chavez of Albuquerque, Tina Chavez and Frances Chavez of Los; his grandchildren, Josiah, Savannah, Katrina, Simon, Matthew and Russel; and his siblings, Thoy, Georgie and Lucy.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Light Catholic Church (17 Water Canyon Rd, Cubero, NM 87014). A Mass was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
