He was predeceased by: his wife Carmen Salazar; his children, Xaviaer Farias and Sonja Beariea; and his grandson James Patricio Porter. He is survived by: his children, Armelino Salazar, Jr. of Albuquerque, Cindy Hinojosa (Danny) of Alice, Monica Salazar (Apolonio Lucreo) of Cubero and Veronica Fank (Jason) of Grants; and his siblings, Pat Salazar of Cubero, Raymond Salazar of Cubero, Erlinda Salazar of Cubero, Mabel Salazar of Cubero and Rita Salazar of Albuquerque. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
