She was predeceased by: her parents, Romolo Chavez and Adelaida Sandoval; her husband Lionel Chavez; and her sisters, Preciliana Christilaw (Richard) and Albertina Carabajal (Gilbert).
She is survived by: her nephew Dennis Carabajal; her daughter Adelaida Padilla (Liddy); her grandchildren, Timothy Padilla (Marguerite), Carla Glidewell (Shad), Roberta Cohen (Thomas), Susan Reina (Michael) and Jessica Padilla (Jeffrey Campbell); and her great grandchildren, Daniel Masse, Lance Padilla, Lynnsey, Rhegan Glidewell, Aundria, Erick Cohen, Evan and Brock Reina. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and godchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Immaculate Conception Church in Cuba, New Mexico.
