He was predeceased by: his wife Rebecca Padilla; his parents, Esequiel Padilla and Adela Padilla; his siblings, Carlos L. Padilla, Delcida Montoya, Epimenia Romero, Nancy Herrera and Rose Lucero; and his grandchildren, Becky Padilla and Kaidon Reiber.
He is survived by: his children, Jerome Padilla (Theresa), Shirley Morales (David), Ricky Padilla (Jean), Gloria Roybal (James), Debbie Reiber (Mark) and Derek Padilla (Leslie); his sister Lena Lucero; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Padilla and Adan Herrera. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great grandchildren.
