She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Krzywosinski Read and Edwin Read; and her siblings, Edwin Read, Jr., Laura Williamson and Finis Read.
She is survived by: her husband David McPherson; her daughters, Laurie (Teresa Philips), Kathryn and Kate (Michael Nagro); her granddaughter Miranda Read McPherson; her sister Helen Simons; and her niece Ellie Simons. She is also survived by other daughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be dedicated to the Friends of the Corrales Community Library.
