We are sad to announce that on June 5, 2021, at the age of 89, Vicente Armendariz of Columbus, New Mexico passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Anastacio Armendariz and Ester Carreon; his wife Maria Luisa Armendariz; and his siblings, Roberto Armendariz, Alicia Alvidrez, Esperanza Granillo and Bertha Carbajal.

He is survived by: his daughters, Maria Elena Escalante of Phoenix, AZ, Norma Barela (Luis) of Phoenix, AZ, Armida Armendariz (Daniel), Mex and Dora Montiel (Miguel) of Albuquerque, NM; and his sister Hortencia Armendariz. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
