He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Lee Stone and Cora Richardson Stone. He is survived by: his children, Susan Michelle Stone, Mertz (Brice Mertz) and George W. Stone, Jr. (Hannah Elizabeth Covert); his former wife Jane Martin Stone; his children, Meredith Sorelle Stone, Hwang (Andrew Hwang), William Edward Stone "Will", Catherine Ann Stone, Curtis (Evan Curtis) and Daniel L. Stone (Leslie Overfield); his wife Ellen; and his grandchildren, Jacob Mertz, Elle Barecky, Lauren Stone, Landen Stone, Grace, Martin, Teddy Hwang, Cyrus, Georgie, Maggie Stone, Kate and Christine Curtis. He is also survived by his children, 13 grandchildren, and 1 great grand‐child.
