He is survived by: his sons, Gilbert Lopez (Denise) and Sam Lopez Jr. (Veronica); his grandchildren, Cassiano Lopez of Albuquerque, Ariana Lopez of Albuquerque, Dennis Chavez of Albuquerque, Deanna Sais of Albuquerque, Steven Gonzales of Albuquerque and Daniel Gonzales of Albuquerque; and his siblings, Rosalie Garcia of Clovis, Peggy Garcia of Clovis, Frances Lopez (Pancha) of Clovis, Gloria Garcia of Clovis, Ignacio Lopez of Moriarty, Larry Lopez of Hobbs, Navor Lopez of Tampa, FL and Anthony Anya of Albuquerque. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Parish - Clovis (921 N Merriwether St, Clovis, NM 88101). A burial was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. Anthony Cemetery - Fort Sumner (1120 Mc Cabe St, Fort Sumner, NM 88119).
