He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Apodaca and Julia Tarango; his son Matthew Apodaca; and his siblings, Enedina Saenz, Susanna Mora, Augustine Tarango and Lydia Pineda.
He is survived by: his wife Alicia Apodaca; his children, Veronica Apodaca (Juan Medina) of Clovis, NM, Leticia Apodaca (Juan Jimenez) of Clovis, NM and Roger Apodaca of Clovis, NM; his siblings, Jesus Apodaca of Presidio, TX, Rudolfo Apodaca of Clovis, NM, Ludy Hernandez (Mariano) of Clovis, NM, Romelia Lujan (Ricardo) of Pecos, TX and Marie Frank of Dallas, TX; and his niece Zina Marie Garza. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish (108 Davis St, Clovis, NM 88101). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
