He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ellis Maulsby and Viola Tixier Maulsby; and his brothers, Willie Mealy and Charles Maulsby. He is survived by: his children, Gizelle Ward (Husband Brent), Shelly Hathorn (Husband Gary), Sherry Best (Husband Max) and Paul Maulsby; his friend Richard; and his siblings, Jane Austin of Clayton and Gene Maulsby (Sonia) of Clayton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, his extended family, and his multitude of friends.
Memorial donations in memory of Richard may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
