She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Rierson and Mary Rierson; her husband George Hughes; her siblings, Barbara Beal and Jessie Herman Rierson; her daughter-in-law Lisa Evelyn Hughes; her brother-in-law Donald Cain; and her nephews, Michael, Darren Thomas and Danny Beal.
She is survived by: her sons, Phillip Hughes (Linda) of Las Cruces, Bobby Hughes (Lisa) of Las Cruces, Dennis Hughes of Clovis and Larry Hughes (Kim) of Clovis; and her grandchildren, Bryce Harrison, Byron Hughes, Brandon Hughes, Bradley Hughes, Cody Hughes, Kyle Hughes, Joy Hughes, Rebecca Hughes, Rachel Hughes, Amy Hughes, Noelka Hughes, Michelle Hughes, Carly Harrison, Nissa Hughes, Kika Nieta and Heather Price.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Steed-Todd Funeral Home (800 E Manana Blvd, Clovis, NM 88101). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Steed Todd Funeral Home Chapel (800 E Manana Blvd, Clovis, NM 88101).
Family would like for contributions to be made in Joyce's honor to Lighthouse Mission in Clovis, New Mexico.
