He was predeceased by: his father O. B. Johnston. He is survived by: his mother Geneva Johnston of Conchas Dam; and his siblings, Lorna Ford of Tucumcari and Eric Johnston (Kim Johnston) of Stinnett Texas. He is also survived by two nephews, three nieces, eight great nieces and four great nephews, as well as numerous cousins.
