She was predeceased by: her parents, Filiberto Gallegos and Felicita Montaño; and her siblings, Ralph Gallegos and Frances Encinias (Quica). She is survived by: her husband Felipe Antonio Martinez of Clovis, NM; her children, Grace Snyder (Jurgen) of Colorado Springs, CO, Aurora Corsey of Clovis, NM, Reyes Martinez (Cheryl) of Albuquerque, NM, Hope Martinez of Clovis, NM and Marc Martinez (Karen) of Clovis, NM; her siblings, Josè Esquipula Gallegos of Artesia, NM, Rita Urioste of Taos, NM and Magdalena Maes (Jimmy) of Clovis, NM; and her close friend Cristi Casillas. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chapel of Angels (1430 N Thornton St, Clovis, NM 88101). A rosary was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (921 N Merriwether St, Clovis, NM 88101). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
