With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnny Mac Chase of Clovis, New Mexico, born in Wayne County, North Carolina, who passed away on November 15, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth "Lavon" Tivis; his siblings, Hugh, William, James, Keith and Mae Grimes; and his grandchildren, Taylor Hope Bilberry and Trey Chase Bilberry.
He is survived by: his son Duane; his daughter-in-law Lisa Chase of Clovis; his daughter Cheree; his son-in-law Jeff Bilberry of Kenna; his grandchildren, Jared (Lauri Chase), Derek Chase (Kendra Yapyappen) of Las Cruces, NM, Lauren (Eric Wait), Tori (Sterling Morris) and Trent (Bailey Bilberry); his great grandchildren, Gemma, Isla Wait, Alice Bilberry and Victoria Chase; his brother Delton; his sister-in-law Ruth Chase of Pikeville, NC; his sisters, Eva Hehl of Goldsboro, NC, Barbara Forehand of Goldsboro, NC and Gaye Bryd of Freemont, NC; his children, Jacob and Denise; and his grandchildren, Jaiden, Mikah and Zion. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Clovis New Life Assemblies of God Church (517 W 21st St, Clovis, NM 88101).
