It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanne Avon McIlroy Hayes in Clovis, New Mexico, born in Borger, Texas, who passed away on June 10, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion McIlroy and Lela Riley McIlroy; her husband Preston C. Hayes (Jim); and her siblings, Earle McIlroy, Jimmie McIlroy, Blanche Martyr, Ferne Vincent and Joyce Gustafson.
She is survived by: her children, David Hayes (Jinita) of Lovington, Jeffrey Hayes (Lori) of Dover, Oklahoma and Kerri Klemm (Bruce) of Bartlett, Tennessee.; her grandchildren, Daniel Hayes (Alondra), Jess Hayes (Sarah), Lauren Grabow (Blaine), Amanda Page (Chris) and Elisa Klemm; and her great grandchildren, Catherine, Addison, James Hayes, Preston Hayes, Gabrial, Colby Stokes, Lasi, Lathan, Owen Grabow and David Page.
