He was predeceased by: his grandmother Alice Garza; and his brother Jeremey Martinez. He is survived by: his parents, Juan Jose Nava Tafoya of Aurora, CO and Irene Duran Morin of Clovis, NM; his wife Jessica Lesly; his siblings, Joseph Bautista (Kellie) of Clovis, NM, Crystal Kinkade (Will) of Clovis, NM, Ruby Nguyen of Clovis, NM, David Tafoya of Friona, TX, Omar Tafoya of Friona, TX and Juan Tafoya of Friona, TX; his nieces and nephews, Ricky, Arick, Tristian Bautista, Kyla Tafoya, Kyle Webb, Kaden, Kenzie, Kolton Kinkade, Josh Negrete, Jaidah Nguyen and Josiah Smith; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Abel Kinkade, Avery Bautista, Aria Bautista and Andrew Bautista.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the The Chapel (1500 N Thornton St, Clovis, NM 88101, USA). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
