He is survived by: his parents, Roman Chavez of Clovis, NM and Jeannie Montoya of Plainview, TX; his wife Olga Chavez; his children, Dominique Chavez of Clovis, NM, Jasmin Wilson (Anthony) of Clovis, NM, Sterling Chavez (Audrey) of Clovis, NM and Sasha Chavez of Clovis, NM; his siblings, Shawn Chavez (Bertha) of San Antonio, TX, Eric Chavez (Virginia) of Plainview, TX and Estella Garcia (Tim) of Lubbock, TX; his grandparents, Tony and Lupe Montoya of Clovis, NM; and his grandchildren, Mariah, Malachi, Brenlie, Preslie, Cameron, Alaia, Sophia and Olivia. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Chapel of Angels (1430 N Thornton St, Clovis, NM 88101).
