She was predeceased by: her father Jose Rafael Gonzales; her stepfather Florentino Vasquez; her siblings, Laurencio Gonzales, Guillermo Gonzales, Florencio Gonzales, Henry Vasquez, Leroy Vasquez, Antonio Vasquez, Laura Madrid, Arcelia Jewell, Jesusita Sanchez and Flora Hurtado; her former husband Antonio Romero; her husband Jose Nerio Martinez; her daughters, Tonie Trujillo and Josephine Martinez; her son-in-law Ben Bustos; and her grandson Isaiah Salazar.
She is survived by: her siblings, Dolores Garcia, Viola Ruiz, Seralia Maestas, Barbara Dominguez, Jose Vasquez (Esther) and Florentino Vasquez (Alice); her sister-in-law Angie Gonzales; her daughters, Marcelina Bustos of Cleveland, Mary Helen Casados (Frank) of Pecos, Angela Salazar (Marc) of Albuquerque and Julie Martinez of El Aguila; and her children-in-law, Fidel Trujillo of LeDoux and Jennifer Griego of Albuquerque. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nephews, nieces, and friends.
Rosa Martinez, 91, of Cleveland, N.M. slipped the bonds of Alzheimer's and peacefully reached the end of her earthly journey on January 10, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
