He is survived by: his wife Lois Evelyn Hyer of Clayton; his sons, Tommy Hyer of Clayton and Kenneth Hyer (Mary) of Keyes; his granddaughter Kaitlyn Hyer of Clayton; and his siblings, Myrtle "Tootie" Fletcher (Clarence) of Jay, Naomi "Kandi" Green of Jay and Arthur Hyer (Reba) of Morgan Mills.
