She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bessie Luella Anderson Almquist and Victor Emmanuel Almquist; her husband Elton Jay Leavitt; her siblings, Wanda Elaine Almquist Wilcox, Earl Victor Almquist, Lee August Almquist and Wayne Elroy Almquist; her daughters, Daphne Sowers (Larry) of Lubbock and Jill Swagerty (Tom) of Clayton; her grandchildren, Suzanne Driskill (Cory) of Houston, Kelly Jones (Ronda) of Canyon, Lara Flores (Brandon Tidmore) of Lubbock, Joshua Jones (Carmen) of Hereford and Micah Jones of Amarillo; her great grandchildren, Lleyton, Trenton, Ashton Flores, Raley, Kelton Jones, Laney, Zachary Driskill and Kip Jones; and her sisters-in-law, Grace Almquist of Phoenix and Fay Bossier of Flagstaff.
MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to First United Methodist Church or Union County General Hospital in Clayton.
