He is survived by: his parents, Jesus Gallegos and Rosa Gallegos (Olivas); his wife Ramona Armendariz of Clayton; his children, Norma Gallegos Martinez (Claudia Gallegos Martinez), Juan Gallegos Martinez of Juarez, Eric Gallegos of Clayton and Angelo Gallegos (Soraya) of Clayton; his sister Rosa Larrea (Javier) of Canutillo; and his stepbrother Luis Ernesto Lozano Arana (Mari) of Juarez, Mexico.. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren.
