Joe Craine Sr. Obituary

Joe Isidro Craine, Sr., age 85, died Thursday, May 23, 2019 at his home in Clayton, New Mexico. Services are pending at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico. Joe Isidro Craine, Sr. was born on May 15, 1934 in Moses, New Mexico to Alejandro "Alex" Craine and Lilberta Juanita (Vallejos) Craine.

Joe graduated from Clayton High School in 1955. He married Mary Rosebelle (Ulibarri) Craine on October 13, 1958 in Clayton, New Mexico and she preceded him in death on October 10, 2008. Joe worked for Interstate Grain for eight years and then worked for the Clayton public school system until he retired. Joe also worked as a custodian for Mountain Bell for 17 years and then for Plateau for 39 years.

In addition to his wife and parents, Joe was preceded in death by 2 daughters; Barbara Ann Perez on February 8, 2017 and Paula Collins on February 5, 2016, 3 grandsons; Derick Mark Craine, Ron Trujillo and Joshua Rodriguez, 2 brothers; Alejandro Craine, Jr. and Salamon Craine and 2 sisters; Bea Collins and Carmen Marquez.

SURVIVORS: 2 DAUGHTERS: Theresa Craine and Ron Trujillo of Eagle, Colorado and Renae Craine of Clayton, New Mexico. 2 SONS: Joe Craine, Jr. and Albert Mark Craine both of Clayton, New Mexico. 12 GRANDCHILDREN: Sally Spenny, Rosie Vilarael, Michele Snyder, Audrey Rodriguez, Akia Collins, Alvin Joshua Rodriguez, Carlos Mineles, Juan Adrian Perez, Evette Craine, Cynthia Craine, Kylee Dillenger and Jonathan Maestas. 22 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Jamin, Bailey, Adin, Jack, Jacob, Lil Frankie, Acacia, LeSalle, Laylianna, Jordan, Austin, Madison, Tai, Khloie, Naydine, Xavier, Brianna, Jasmine, Mymphis, Caleb, Allison and Kilee.
