He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Doherty of Clayton; his son Tim Doherty (Shanan) of Sterling; his son-in-law Greg Brorby of Spring Creek; and his grandchildren, Garret Brorby, Grant Brorby (Brooklyn), Macie Doherty and Casey Doherty.
