It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Porfirio Archuleta formerly of Chimayo, New Mexico, who passed away on December 1, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Pedro Archuleta and Rebecca Salazar; his siblings, Ernesto Archuleta, Jerry Archuleta, Trinidad Vigil (Felix) and Olivama Archuleta; the mother of his children Margaret Archuleta; his siblings-in-law, Helen Archuleta, Geri Trujillo, Gilbert Montoya, Elizario Martinez and Felix Vigil; and his mother-in-law Evangelia Martinez.
He is survived by: his wife Orlinda Martinez Archuleta; his children, Vivian Valdez, Pauline Traina (Chris), Frances Archuleta, Mark Archuleta (Maria) and Victor Archuleta (Steven); his siblings, Lugarda Montoya, Elvira Martinez, Videlio Archuleta and Leo Archuleta (Gloria); and his siblings-in-law, Genoveva Archuleta, Dora Vigil (Arthur), Jessie Martinez, Fabie Valdez (Lipio), Benita Martinez, Joe N. Trujillo and Flavio Martinez (Lydia). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and many friends.
