She is survived by: her husband Nick Kildahl; her children, Lauren Lawson, Mary Kate Amantea, Sarah Kennedy, Blair Granum, Jason Amantea and Brett Kildahl; and her brothers, Marc L and David S Johnson. She is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In 1986 she made the decision to divorce and to return to nursing, beginning a fine career in Long Term Care Administration with an emphasis on Alzheimer's Disease and on Quality of Life.
