She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Baldonado and Antonita Maestas (Cippie Valdez); her daughter Carmen Valdez; her siblings, Manuel Baldonado and Connie Ross; her parents-in-law, Juan Ysidro Valdez and Maria Carmen Valdez; her stepson-in-law Louis Matta; and her stepgranddaughter Veronica "Noni" Matta.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth "Chavela" Nunez (Jaime) of Farmington, Cippy Valdez of Albuquerque, Kimberly Candelaria (Herman) of Chama and Juan Valdez (Heather) of Espanola; her stepchildren, Herman Valdez of Las Cruces and Ramona Matta of Dexter; her grandchildren, Jaime, Adrian, Jennifer Nunez, Roman, Amanda, Brianna Valdez, Mercedes Candelaria, Mikaylah and Jaxen Valdez; her stepgrandchildren, Johnny, Marietta Valdez, Louis "Little Louie" Matta and Leslie Matta-Weaver; and her great grandchildren, Christopher, Miguel Nunez, Ida and Zoe Valdez.
