He is survived by: his sister Antoinette Anaya; his children, David Lucero Jr., Noel, Christina, Angela (Karl Martinez) and Michelle Lucero (Anthony Arellano); his niece Anna Lucero (Dolly); his stepchildren, Theresa Perea and Eloy Romero; and his grandchildren, Anthony Segura, Miko (Stevie Rae Quintana), Molly Lucero, Makayla Lucero, Estevan Arellano, Amalia Lucero (Majie), Johnny and Sativa Anaya.
