She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Rubio, Sr. and Manuel Rubio, Sr.; her brother Manuel Rubio, Jr.; her grandson Jeremiah Sandavol; and her pet Blanco.
She is survived by: her husband Estanislado Sosa, Jr. of Carlsbad, NM; her daughters, Sonya Sosa (Brandon Sandoval), Sophia Sosa (John Vasquez), Bianca Sosa (Jimmy Rodriguez), Nakita Sosa (Carlos Martinez) and Yulita Melendrez of Carlsbad, NM; and her sister Belinda Rubio of Carlsbad, NM. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
